VectraplexECG System with VectraplexAMI (Catalog # V100100)
The VectraplexECG System consists of VectraCor's patented technology, personal computer and ambulatory stand. Since the standard 12-lead resting ECG is the cornerstone of CVD testing and the very first diagnostic test ordered on every suspect patient, VectraplexECG will have the capability of producing the 12 lead electrocardiogram with the standard 10 electrode placement as well as VectraCor's new patented derived technology to derive a 15 lead ECG using a subset of the standard placement of only 5 electrodes or 3 leads.
Note: Derived 15-lead ECGs and their measurements are approximations to conventional 12-lead
ECGs and should not be used for final diagnostic interpretations.
The VectraplexAMI index has been tested in comparison to physician interpretation of
standard 12-lead ECGs in patients presenting to an acute care setting, and not in
comparison to additional clinical data documenting the presence of acute myocardial
infarction.
The significance of the ST segment changes and VectraplexAMI require physician
interpretation. If the VectraplexAMI indicates a potential AMI the user should acquire
a 12 lead ECG using 10 electrodes.
For Adult Use and patients presenting with chest pain or other presumed anginal equivalents.
Vectraplex Holter System
Note: Vectraplex Holter Unit is not available in the US or Europe for sale.
The Vectraplex Holter unit is an ambulatory cardiac monitoring device to be utilized in areas where ultra-portability is required, such as in Emergency Department and Triage areas, Home Care, the Department of Defense, First Aid Squads, paramedic units, private offices, etc. The Vectraplex System will be the first Holter System to incorporate a cell phone that will transmit data to a doctor to view a derived 15 lead ECG. The system will derive a 15 lead ECG from the reduced 3 lead set (5 electrodes) and incorporate the “Cardiac Electrical Biomarker”, VectraplexAMI, to monitor a patient for ECG changes that may be suggestive of an AMI. The Vectraplex Holter will interface to the VectraplexECG System to display the entire data set for the doctors' review. Clinicians for the first time will be able to receive data immediately from the wireless device if the patient has a condition, or the patient pushes the event button, and view the 15 lead ECG. If the patient is potentially having a heart attack or other heart conditions based on the physician's assessment, the clinician can inform their patient of the need for immediate emergency evaluation, if necessary. Plus for the first time, the emergency facility can immediately print out a derived 15 lead ECG for the clinical staff prior to the patient arriving at the facility.
